Developer Unknown Worlds has broke the news that their aquatic survival game Subnautica has managed to sell 5.3 million copies globally.
The founder of Unknown Worlds, Charlie Cleveland, told GamesIndustry.biz during an interview and explained that figure comprises sales across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Subnautica is a massive underwater open world adventure game set on an alien ocean planet. Descend into the depths of an alien underwater world filled with wonder and peril. Craft equipment, pilot submarines and out-smart wildlife to explore lush coral reefs, volcanoes, cave systems, and more – all while trying to survive.
