The day we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived, Sucker Punch’s highly anticipated Open world RPG Ghost of Tsushima will launch today on the 17th of July! In anticipation of the launch, Sony Interactive Entertainment have released a character customization trailer. Check it out below:
The trailer focuses on customization, showing how you can change the protagonist’s looks to your taste, on top of equipping various charms to fine-tune his abilities.
We also get to take a look at the extensive photo mode on top of the ability to apply a filter that will make the game look closer to a classic samurai movie.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, Ghost of Tsushima is set in the late 13th century during the Mongol invation of Tsushima. As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands as one of the last surviving members of his clan. He is resolved to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.
