It looks like Splatoon wasn’t the only Nintendo franchise that got the China clone treatment as well. Pocket All-Stars Smash Bros. is a Smash Bros. clone that doesn’t play like a Smash Bros. game at all. At least, they are trying to make a new game.
What makes this an obviously brazen copy is the fact that Nintendo licensed characters are being used generously with very little to no disregard on copyright infringement. They even kept “Smash Bros.” (スマッシュブラザーズ) in Japanese when it’s clearly not the same game.
Nevertheless, if you want to see what the game’s all about, here’s a twenty-minute gameplay video which will probably get taken down soon, if Nintendo’s aggressive takedowns are any indication.
Instead of playing a clone, why not pick up Smash Bros. on Nintendo Wii U instead? Need Nintendo eShop codes? OffGamers has got you covered! Purchase all your Nintendo eShop codes at OffGamers and receive them instantaneously!
