Team Ninja releases Nioh 2 for PS4 on 13 Mar
Fans of Dark Soul-esque games unite as the sequel to the highly rated action role playing game Nioh, Nioh2 releases on the 13th of March
Just like it’s predecessor, Nioh 2 is an action role-playing game developed by Team Ninja, and published by Koei Tecmo in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment internationally.
This game is actually a prequel to Nioh, set several decades earlier in the Sengoku-era, before the arrival of the foreigner William, so instead of playing as the former main character, you’ll create your own custom character, a nameless Samurai who can defy death and unleash newfound abilities due to their latent demonic lineage. As a being of both the human and demon worlds, your character will rub shoulders with famous historical figures of the era as they take on daring missions that have them confront the dark forces running afoul in the land.
You’ll still have to change stances and manage your stamina as you take on big bosses, but fortunately, you can do so with friends in three-player co-op. What’s more is that you can actually transform into a yokai yourself if you collect a monster’s Soul Core.
