Telltale Games Is Gone For Good

According to Gamedaily.biz, Telltale Games faces imminent closure.

The Northern California game studio that develops the acclaimed Walking Dead series and Tales of Borderlands is in the process of getting liquidated, and has enlisted the help of a firm, Sherwood Partners, to help in the closure of the company.

GameDaily was informed by co-founder Martin Pitchinson that Sherwood will assist them with the liquidation of Telltale’s assets. Additionally, an ex-employee told the website that the remaining health benefits mandated by law for affected eligible employees will be terminated on November 30. Back in September, the studio laid off the majority of its staff, allegedly paying no severance to affected developers.
