Ever since the game launched a couple of years ago, Tetris 99 has been doing Maximus Cup events every now and then. These usually happen to celebrate some first-party content that recently launched on the Nintendo Switch, usually a game, and the theme you can unlock during the event is usually based on what the first-party content is.
Well, Nintendo has announced Tetris 99‘s 23rd Maximus Cup. It will begin on August 6th. This time, the theme is based on The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. It has been less than a month since Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo of America tweeted the news of the Tetris 99 Maximus Cup, so you can see their tweet down below.
The #Tetris99 23rd MAXIMUS CUP event will run from 12am PT, August 6 – 11:59pm PT, on August 9!
