The Ghostly Adventures Continues With Yo-Kai Watch 2 On September 30

Yo-Kai Watch fans rejoice! The sequel to the ghost collecting sensation is heading to the west on September 30, 2016. Get ready to visit new locales out of Springdale and meet over 100 new Yo-Kai!

While it’s two years late (Yo-Kai Watch 2 was released in Japan back in 2014), there’s still plenty to look forward to when the game launches on September 30.

For one, the game will come in two versions; Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits, and Yo-Kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls, with each version to include a rare Yo-Kai, similar to Pokemon releases.

And the Yo-Kai Watch hype doesn’t stop there. Disney had recently acquired the rights to Yo-Kai Watch‘s second season and will begin airing the animation on the Disney XD channel.

Let’s hope that Yo-Kai Watch 2 becomes a greater success and leads to Nintendo releasing the third game (which is set to launch in Japan on July 16) a lot earlier.

Yo-Kai Watch 2 will launch on September 30, exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
