The Next Expansion For World of Warcraft Will Drop On Hit August 30
World of Warcraft: Legion, the latest expansion for Blizzards MMORPG will be launched on August 30 and bring with it new content to bring back its declining user base.
The expansion is currently available for pre-purchase with three different versions available to choose from. Before we jump into the details, check out the video below to see what’s coming in WoW: Legion.
WoW: Legion will come in Standard Edition ($49.99), Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99), and a Collector’s Edition ($89.99). The Standard Edition will be available in both digital and physical form while as the Digital Deluxe Edtion will naturally be available in digital form only. Finally, the Collector’s Edition will only be available as a physical-only release.
The Digital Deluxe Edition will include the following:
– Illidari Felstalker mount
– A pet for World of Warcraft
– A Felstalker mount for Heroes of the Storm
– A helm transmog and wings for Diablo III
– A pair of fel-infused StarCraft II portraits.
You’ll be able to boost one character to level 100 if you pre-purchase either the Standard or Digital Deluxe Edition. The Collector’s Edition will have all of the Digital Deluxe Edition items including a hardcover art book, a making-of Blu-Ray/DVD combo, CD soundtrack, and a Legion mouse mat.
Aside from the new content set to come with WoW: Legion, gamers can look forward to the new class, Demon Hunter, an “all-new melee hero class gifted with preternatural mobility—and the ability to metamorphose into hellish new forms.” If you want to try out the new hero class early, pre-purchasing the expansion will give you early access to the Demon Hunter.
