This Gamer’s Steam Level Is Way Over Powered

Levels and achievements are how gamers show their pride and dedication for the hobby they love. But sometimes, some gamers go above and beyond it and reach a level that’s otherworldly.

One such gamer is Steam demigod PalmDesert. The Japanese gamer was previously known to Steam users as the man with the highest Steam level at 600. Now, he’s the man who basically broke the system by going past 1,000.

Yes, He has a Steam Level of over 1,000 (1,046 to be exact) and the folks at Valve can’t keep up with it, They haven’t even designed a graphic for it yet!

For the uninitiated, Steam level is basically Valve’s way of calculating all the games a user owns, their participation in events, and Steam badges they created, in a gamified system. Plus, the higher your Steam level, the more perks you get (such as more friend slots, ability to showcase in-game items, achievements, etc.,) for your profile.

For PalmDesert to reach that level, he amassed a whopping 5,029 games on his Steam account. That’s a big chunk of Steam’s library, which is comprised of 7,481 games and DLCs.
