This Mod Lets You Transforms Fallout 4 Into The Last of Us
The world of Fallout 4 is full of grime, dirt, and generally brown/grey colored tones. Due to radiation fallout, you won’t find much green in the wastelands of Fallout 4.
But, if you ever wondered what it would like if nature retook the lands of Fallout 4, YouTuber hodilton posted a video that uses a combination of mods to create a Fallout 4 universe that’s straight out of The Last of Us.
If you feel like trying out the mods, here are the ones that you’ll need to download:
Resurrection – for new grass, landscape, and building textures, as well as new ambient sounds.
Grasslands – which brings in not only other new grass textures but also flowers and modified debris, beaches, and marshlands.
PhotoRealistic Commonwealth – this last mod adds in a tonne of graphical tweaks to make everything look sharper and more, as the name suggest, photorealistic.
But be forewarned, using these mods will be taxing on your PC. A Reddit thread suggests having a PC with 16GB of RAM, Intel Core i7, an MSI GTX980Ti Gaming 6G graphics card or similar to ensure the mod runs smoothly.
Given the specs required to run the mods, it doesn’t seem likely that it’ll be available on consoles when the mod tools officially launch. At least gamers can look forward to ‘Far Harbor’, Fallout 4 next big DLC that’s coming out on May 19.
