Ubisoft Reaches New Sales Milestone With Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 is now one of the fastest-selling game in franchise history in its launch week, according to Ubisoft. The company claimed $310 million in its first week, double the opening sales of prior franchise record-holder Far Cry 4.

The announcement also mentions a few other launch week stats. Far Cry 5 was streamed for over 55,000 hours.
