Ubisoft’s Battle Royale Game Hyper Scape Launch Times Revealed

After the beta ended on the 2nd of August, fans of Ubisoft’s battle royale Hyper Scape has been eagerly anticipating it’s official release. Today they will only have to wait a little longer as Ubisoft has released the official release times of each region. Check it out below:

Hyper Scape Servers Open on the 11th of August in Asia & Oceania at 11pm AEST, Europe & Middle East at 3pm CEST, and the Americas at 6am PST. The game launches along with Season 1 of the game titled The First Principle.

The estimated download size has also been revealed, PC and Xbox One users should free up around 8.5 GB of space, while PS4 owners will need 11.5 GB. Note that PC users who participated in the Beta and still has the files can expect a much smaller required space.

Ahead of the official launch of Hyper Scape on August 11, Ubisoft has released the patch notes for the update that’s going live alongside the launch. Notably, the patch makes numerous balance changes to certain weapons and Hacks, and makes a nice adjustment to health regeneration. You can see the full patch notes here.

The devs also clarified that cross progression for the game will come with season 1, while cross-play will come at a later date. This means you can carry your progress and levels from one platform to another, but it’ll still be a while before you can play with or against your friends on a different platform.

For those of you who don’t know, Hyper Scape is Ubisoft’s take on the battle royale genre. It is the only urban futuristic free-to-play Battle Royale where 100 contenders engage in FPS close-quarters and fast-paced matches to become the next global superstar.
