Use Your Classic Game Boy To Control A Drone

The original Game Boy classic used to be a marvel of technology capable of giving players a slew of digital worlds to explore in a portable form. Gautier Hattenberger, however, thought that the Game Boy could be used for more than that.

Namely, to pilot an actual Drone.

And he actually managed to get a Game Boy classic to work with a UAV (Parrot ARDrone2) while running Paparazzi UAS. Check it out running below:

If you have a Game Boy classic lying around and want to try it out, you can check out the coding Hattenberger used on GitHub.As for the rest of us, we’ll just use the Game Boy to play games instead.
