Valve has big plans for 2019 and in a recent blog post, the company has listed out the improvements it has brought to Steam in 2018, along with interesting stats on its users base and growth for last year.
According to Valve, Steam has 90 million monthly active users, 47 million daily active users, and its users is making 1.6 million new purchases each month.
While Steam did accomplished a lot in 2018 like revamping the Steam Chat, adding content filtering tools, removal of fake games and troll developers, and even enhancing the Steam Store Wishlist, Valve will continue to improve Steam’s infrastructure work with new updates and more. [list_item]Store Discoverability: We’re working on a new recommendation engine powered by machine-learning, that can match players to games based on their individual tastes.
