Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was out for only a couple of days on PC, and developer Fatshark announced that the game has sold over 500,000 units as of March 12. A huge milestone for the company as the game was released on March 8.
Vermintide 2 sets players back during the End Times apocalypse scenario. Players are given a selection of five characters for every level, and the game lets you pick four to take with you into battle. Each of your heroes has three professions to select from, with every profession giving them a set of active and passive skills, together with a talent tree to progress your characters’ abilities.

The first Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide was an intense, frantic action with mechanically diverse characters. Warhammer: Vermintide 2’s numbers is expected to grow even higher in the long run.
The game will also be introduced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Fatshark has stated players can expect beta sessions for the console this coming spring. It is not just the sales numbers which are huge, developer Fatshark also reveals there were 204 million minutes of Vermintide 2 streamed on Twitch to date.
