Battlefield 5 is releasing its latest update, Chapter 2: Lightning Strikes for free on January 17, 2019 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
In Chapter 2: Lightning Strikes, the main highlight is the Squad Conquest; a more concentrated version of the 64-player Conquest mode, but it will only be available from January 17 to January 30. This mode consist of two squads per team battle it out over smaller, more tactical layouts of three existing maps: Arras, Hamada, and Rotterdam. These maps all feature 16 players on two teams, three flags, spawning restricted to HQs, and limited access to vehicles. Additionally, there’s four new weapons which can be unlocked with the Weekly Challenges, along with several changes and fixes in this update.
