MapleStorySEA holds a special place in our hearts with its monthly updates and events to enjoy. The best part is that some of these events extend to September, with lots of rewards to be won. We’re including some of the confirmed September events just to prepare you for what’s coming as well. Oh, and if you’re in need of in-game currencies, fret not and get the PlayPark @Cash right here!
So, without further ado, here’s your monthly dose of updates for MapleStorySEA, with their recent Super Star patch update!
MapleStorySEA Super Star Update
Purrfect Rangers
Event Requirements: Level 101+, zero classes must complete Chapter 2 of the main storyline
This event will be the last chance for you to pet these kitties before they’re gone for good, so get your petting on! The event starts on 28th July 2021, 1000 hours to 17th August 2021, 2359 hours. You can start by going to the [Purrfect Rangers] A Stray cat event notifier icon.
Accepting the quest would lead you to the Victoria Tree Platform where you will talk to NPC Ankko and fly to Singapore to talk to NPC Irene. The idea is to help 5 NPCs scattered around Singapore gather food and they will reward you with 1 Purrfect ranger Cash Equipment. You can only help 1 NPC per day.
When you’re done with 5 NPCs, talk to NPC Man in Black and NPC Dr.Mong for your reward: Purrfect Rangers Portable Base (Chair).
Fairy Bros’ Golden Carriage
Event Requirements: Level 101+, zero characters completing Chapter 2 Story Quest
This is a login event that can be found under the [Golden Carriage] The Fairy Bros’ Golden Carriage Is Here quest in Star Notification. Event duration starts from 11th August 2021 to 16th November 2021, 2359 hours.
Just log in every day for 1 hour and click ‘Complete’ to receive a stamp. You’ll get 2 stamps for logging in on weekends. The timer will not reset if there’s a disconnection or character change, but it will reset daily.
To access previously missed stamps, you may use a special Golden Pass that costs 3,000 Maple Points.

Return of The Relic Hunt
Event Requirements: Level 101+, zero characters completing Chapter 2 Story Quest
An adventure to hunt down relics starting on the 11th August 2021 to 24th August 2021, 2359 hours. You can start by looking for the [Return of the Relic Hunt] Join Relic Hunt quest in Star Notification.
Accept the daily quest and hunt monsters for relics, this quest can only be done once a day. When you collect 100 relics, you will obtain 1 Imperial Expedition Captain’s Gift Chest and a Hidden Ruins Map Piece. When you’ve collected 4 Map Pieces, a Hidden Ruins portal will appear on the Hidden Ruins Map. Enter the portal and defeat the Ancient Guard to grab its chest full of rewards.
There are 4 Hidden Ruins Map Pieces for Tenus’ Altar and 4 more for Cosat’s Altar, so there are 2 Hidden Ruins for you to uncover. There’s a chance for you to be rewarded with 2 Imperial Expedition Captain’s Gift Chest when you play on Sundays.
Tenus’ Altar Treasure Chest has the Ruins Guardian Chair or Ancient Guard Chair (if you’re lucky). Cosat’s Altar Treasure Chest has the Damage Skin – Gold or damage Skin – Gold (Unit) if you’re lucky.
Reach For The Stars
Event Requirements: Level 101+, zero classes must complete Chapter 2 main storyline
An event held for Independence Day from 18th August 2021, 1000 hours to 7th September 2021, 2359 hours. Look for the [Reach for the Stars] A Blessing of the Stars! Quest under the Star Notification.
There are two rows of quests and 14 missions for you to complete. Completing one top row quest will grant you 1 A Blessing of the Stars Weather Effect and 15 Pure Star Points. Completing one bottom row quest will grant you 1 A Blessing of the Stars Weather Effect and 15 Strike Star Points. These star points can be used to purchase items.
Completing the entire top row grants you Damage Skin – Reach for the stars and completing the entire bottom row rewards you the Reach for the Stars Title (Permanent). Each quest can only be completed once a day, and you can forfeit your current quest to try another as the completion sequence does not matter.

Confirmed September Events:
Yeti Wants To Make His Debut
Event Requirements: Level 101+, zero classes must complete Chapter 2 of the main storyline
The event starts on 1st September 2021, 1000 hours to 28th September 2021, 2359 hours by going to the quest under Star Notification. Hunt 1,000 Yeti’s Ambition (max per day) which could be used to purchase Yeti TV Chair, increase its level and change its parts.
Dynamic Duo Season 3
Event Requirements: Level 10+
The event starts on 1st September 2021, 1000 hours to 28th September 2021, 2359 hours. The UI will popup when you’re selecting characters and you can assign any two characters to the Dynamic Duo. During this event, you’ll get bonus EXP when you play one character.
The characters you’ve chosen will be designated as Da Jie and Xiao Di and when you defeat level 30 monsters, your gauge will be filled with bonus EXP. When the gauge is full, you won’t be able to get anymore bonus EXP. Both characters have their designated gauge which will reset at midnight. Special buffs are given to characters when the gauge is full.
