This game is PS5 exclusive, which means it has the latest machine to render beautiful gameplay smoothly. With the DualSense Controller, it brings the gaming experience to a whole new level. From the footsteps as you move Ratchet around Nefarious City, or to the beat of some BGM, you can feel slight vibrations in your controller in tandem with where you are at or what you are doing in game. Pretty neat, isn’t it? Plus, depending on how hard you pull the trigger, you can also control your firepower. Rift Apart truly maximize your gaming experience on the PS5.

Story-wise, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart starts off with a bunch of ‘feels’. We know that Ratchet and Clank has been partners for quite some time now, and thus Clank started this game off by giving an emotional speech to commemorate their friendship. If you’re a long-time fan, you’re definitely gonna feel this one. Ratchet also started to question himself whether to find his family. The story is very rich and emotionally deep.

Rift Apart also added a female lombax, named Rivet into the game, with her own background and history. Rivet is a strong-willed do-gooder, battling Emperor Nefarious in her own way. We can definitely see some resemblance of Ratchet in Rivet, but she is her own lombax, with her own issues to deal with (namely trust issues). And that adds another layer of depth to this character.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has seen great reviews so far, and delivers on the beautiful design and awesome gaming experience on the latest generation console. With Rivet, this adds much more charm and wit to the whole game. You will surely enjoy this, or have a good laugh with it.
