Xbox Game Pass Adds 4 New Games to it’s Roster

Xbox Game Pass featured a new game yesterday, with another three reported on their way today! Night Call is already out, and Streets of Rogue, The Messenger, and Observation will be coming out today.

Taxi Driving Murder Mystery Night Call is well worth checking out. You play as a taxi driver with a gift of getting people to talk, and you’ll be using this skill in order to catch a serial killer who had left you for dead.

Streets of Rogue is a rogue-lite about player choice, freedom, and anarchic fun. The game takes inspiration from fast-paced top-down rogue-lites like Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne, and adds free-form, experimentation-driven, emergent gameplay elements of RPGs like Deus Ex. Rather than taking place in a dungeon, the game is set in a functioning, procedurally generated city, where complex AI informs denizens from all walks of life, who are just trying to get by in their daily activities.

Voted to be the best debut indie game of 2018, The Messenger is a classic action platformer where you play as a young ninja who ventures through a cursed world to deliver a scroll in order to save his clan who are besieged by a demon army. What begins as a classic action platformer soon unravels into an expansive time-traveling adventure full of thrills, surprises, and humor.

Observation is a sci-fi thriller uncovering what happened to Dr. Emma Fisher, and the crew of her mission, through the lens of a space station’s artificial intelligence S.A.M. Players assume the role of S.A.M. by operating the station’s control systems, cameras, and tools to assist Emma in discovering what is happening to the station, the vanished crew, and S.A.M. himself.

Some games are leaving Xbox Game Pass this month too. If they interest you, play Battlefield Gothic: Armada, Die for Valhalla!, Life is Strange 2, Metal Slug X, Metro Exodus, Neon Chrome, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, Steamworld Dig 2 and The Flame in the Flood before 30th June. Otherwise, you’ll have to buy them to play them. Though remember, you can save 20% by buying them while they’re still in Xbox Game Pass.
