Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass Announced
Monolith Soft and Nintendo have announced the Expansion Pass for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, where they will add a variety of new pursuit, characters, and storylines to the game over the course of 2022 and 2023.
As the Expansion Pass had announced, the total amount of Expansion Pass for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is $29.99 / £26.99 and will be accessible when the game launched on July 29.
The pass has divided into four pieces, with the first release happening on the day Xenoblade Chronicles 3 launches, and the final piece will be given to the player before the end of 2023.
Firstly, when the game is launched on July 29, the player will receive multiple of unnamed “helpful items” and colour variants of the characters’ outfits.
The second drop is included with a new Hero character and quests, a new Challenge Battle, and new outfits. As promised, the second drop will be available before the end of 2022. However, Nintendo is yet to confirm for providing the release window.
Meanwhile, the third drop also will include new Hero character and quests, Challenge Battle, and new outfits, which will be released before April 30, 2023. Lastly, the final drop assumed to arrive before December 31, 2023 and will include the brand new scenario to the game along with a full storyline, rather than the odd few quests, and so will presumably add a big chunk of new narrative to the game.
These individual waves of DLC will not be available separately, so the players will need to buy the whole Expansion Pass if they hope to get any of the additions.
