Xiaomi Officially Announces The 6.44-inch Mi Max

Today, Xiaomi unveiled it largest phablet device with the Xiaomi Mi Max during its MIUI 8 conference. The Mi Max is a 6.44-inch phablet device that’s packed in a slim 7.5mm body.

With its large body, Xiaomi has managed to pack in a huge 4,850mAh battery, a Snapdragon 650 or 652 processor, 3 or 4GB of RAM with a 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It will also come with a fingerprint sensor and ship with Android 6.0 running Xiaomi’s MIUI 8.

The Mi Max will be priced at RMB 1499 (3GB RAM / 32GB / Snapdragon 650), RMB 1699 (3GB RAM / 64GB / Snapdragon 652), RMB 1999 (4GB RAM / 128GB / Snapdragon 652), and comes in colors of Silver, Gold, and Dark Grey.

Xiaomi will begin selling the Mi Max on May 17th in China. No word on when it will get an international release.
