Yoshi Nintendo Switch Missed E3 Because It Is Still In Development

Nintendo has confirmed that Yoshi’s solo Nintendo Switch game has been postponed to 2019.

Yoshi was not part of the reveal during Nintendo’s E3 2018 presentation, event hough Nintendo Direct was promoting a 2019 game, Daemon X Machina. During an interview at E3, Nintendo’s chief operating officer Reggie Fils-Aime informed Polygon that Yoshi for Nintendo Switch is still in development and making great progress.

Aime said the game is still being made and there will be more updates later this year. There wasn’t any details whether the game is delayed or the game will be out later this year.

Good-Feel is in charge of developing Yoshi, the side-scrolling platformer game is designed with bright and colorful art style. Yoshi will retain its character’s ability to eat objects with his long tongue and move across a stage with a trail of eggs behind him.
